Whale

I had a mental picture of this abstract whale in my head for weeks before I finally decided to try to put it on paper. I love working with pastel and was curious if I could do this without smearing the black too badly. I hadn't worked with pastels in over a decade, so I was pretty okay with how this turned out. I was also excited with doing anything in pastel, since I spent only 6000 won on a pretty good set.
The thought I had, consisted of this whale in it's environment with a peaceful look and feel. It was what I desperately wanted for myself...
